Walking

There are many circular walks in the area, of varying length and difficulty.

Martin Daykin's excellent book Circular Walks on The Tuscany Umbria Border contains full instructions for 18 of these walks in the stunning border area between Cortona, Lake Trasimeno, Montone and Perugia. All have been carefully planned to take in points of interest and magnificent views.
